I would love a Morphy saga as well, but I think after Capablanca it's more natural to make an Alekhine saga. Alekhine is as interesting as Morphy when it comes to his imagination and creativity. Also he was Capablanca's nemesis so it would be like Capablanca's sequel.

I was thinking take the pawn with the Bishop if you're going to loose it anyway. Maybe he could of drawn the game with the Knight. Plugged it into stockfish from before the Queen moved and the second I moved to f5 stockfish said he was down 50 then a few seconds later said mate in 18 so guess it was hopeless. Maybe a mistake was possible but better to just shake hands and congrats, good game Sir

I am watching this saga a year and a half after it was created. I'm enjoying it, but I have to say I'm glad seem to be done with vastly inferior opponents for a while. Everything up through the St. Petersburg 1914 tournament was great. And maybe a few of the games from his simuls and wins in the Rice Memorial would have been good, but 10 was far too many. Capa had already established himself as possibly the strongest player in the world and certainly among the few best. Wins against the likes of Rosenthal and R. Lopez do not further his story.
