You sure aren’t overstating it when you say this was a “remarkable game”. I SO enjoyed studying the board after each move. I learned a lot just by viewing! Thank you for being one of the best teachers of chess as you simply analyze a game and show a lot of “what if this move, what if that move” scenarios. I watch your videos daily. Each one is a new learning experience and sure adds to my love of the game. “Castles, castles - Captures, captures, captures...” 😀.

this game of Tomi Nyback is the first that I have ever seen. This 17 year is really good, I enjoyed this game and very impressed by the way he got the second queen and ramming that pawn Carlsen's throat. Not too many people could do that to him if any. #suggest you should show Réti vs. Capablanca, NY, 1924, the game that ended Capablanca's 8 years of not being defeated in which Réti famously used his new Réti opening.

10:09 how strong/weak would rook to C1 be? Or rook to A7 instead, one move later?

After the b6 move from Tomi what will happen if you move not the queen on b7 but the knight on d3 attacking Tomi's queen. if you then capture it with the knight on e5 you will play the same move afterwards queen on b7. you will lose the night but Tomi will not have 2nd fast pawn and the knight will be way out if the way on d3 giving you space for proper defense . if then Tomi play rook on a7 you just move the queen on d6/c6. from there on out I don't know what will happened

10:50 can anyone explain to me why black had to play Ra8 instead of Rc8? I can't see the problem with Rc8 and then after white recaptures the knight on c5 the pawn is attacked twice by the bishop and the rook. I'm not seeing how this line could be worse than Ra8, even considering some other zwischenzugs for white like Ra7.
