BRITTLE PLA, .19 layer height, 185C nozzle, non heated bed (as usual), etc.

The Brittleness of the filament here is not caused by moisture, because wouldn't any moisture be boiling off the hot extruded filament (popping sounds would be herd if it were actually wet).

Does Brittle = wet / does wet = poor print finishes (with popping and snapping as the supposed moisture boils off?)

Confused by all the conflicting causes I read about.....from other users.

Don't you think if this filament was wet, it wouldn't print well at all?
