the reason why forgotten heroes like argus and masha has high winrates overall is because since people just forgot about them and what they do, they usually dont know what to do against them or a good counter to them with that said, here are my tips when going against an argus: -when you get hit by his second skill, just stop moving too much or youll take massive amounts of damage from the "cursed" debuff (especially in the early game) -a GREAT counter to argus are heroes that has a "supress" cc (kaja, barats and franco) -using Sprint as your battle spell is great if the hero youre using have no blink skills, so you can be immune to the slow and just zoom away from the argus

It depends on playstyle. If you hit and run, want better chances to survive or push towers, sprint is better. If you are brawler to go 1v3, use inspire. Still those 2 battle spells are very good for him.

Sprint is still a versatile spell though. The main difference is inspire can only be used offensively (Pushing turrets and melting enemies) while sprint on the other hand can either be used offensively or defensively (running away).

Argus is actually one of the best heroes for solo rank, ever since his ult cooldown was heavily reduced.He doesn't rely much on his team and if he was behind, I can just use my extreme push strategy and backdoor the enemies or forcing them to lose important members of their team when a war rages on, and 1v1 againts Argus is mostly meaning suicide. Before the tank meta, after his ult buff, in all ranks, his winrate is always at top 5, a good prove that he is good, and then he is used a little bit more by players and after the tank meta, his power in the meta kinda decreases but he is still a good hero for solo rank, holding his winrate leaderboard at top 10 on all ranks.

You dont want to defend the turret being pushed by argus alone ( like hayabusa ) , so it forces two to come to defend the lane . Plus he can just focus on the backline in teamfights without being interrupted

As the argus main with +2000 matches i can say something easly, first using sprint is not ideal, inspire can be used in much more ways and when u have inspire you don't need to take corrosion scythe, my lovely one shot build looks like that : 1 swift boots 2 demon hunter sword 3 scarlet phantom 4 windtalker 5 berserk's fury 6 blade of despair In the end game when i need more dmg (when enemy builded defense items) i'm selling boots and buying blade of the heptaseas (or if i want high kill rate so quite often) so yea, i would like to see video with that 😹 Bye homies

Well, it depends on playstyle. I m argus user too, got also 2k+ matches, but i use sprint instead of inspire for many reasons. But inspire is good too, just not for me.

Do you know argus' counter? Slows. Do you know what counters slows? Sprint. 6 seconds of immunity to slow. i AGREE with u that inspire is the best spell for him, but not the most ideal, cuz the most *ideal* version of him should be able to counter his counters. Sprint does that. Did you see Beto's build at the beginning? It had no corrosion scythe. It had scarlet phantom and Dhs Why did he get corrosion? TO counter build and enhance, he did not need dhs there at all, with corrosion he can slow and keep cyclops and borg in his range, as well as the other squishies. He just took advantage of the match and made what was ideal at the time. Also windtalker should be ur first item, because of clear speed, HIGH wave clear speed, and it gives u added bonus of magical aoe dmg on enemy as well as movement speed, which again is better for when he dives. And the aoe dmg will be added onto how much hp he regains cuz he wont be just attacking one enemy with basics if he has windtalker. Unless you're facing tanks in your lane and being bullied, dhs first is eh, and so is your scarlet second. You're build lacks chase. Its more of an antidive build where you wait for enemy to dive you and then you turn it around. And BESIDES, you go inspire? Windtalker is THE best item for inspire dmg increase, for 90% of basic attack heroes. Nothing scales better with inspire than windtalker. Hands down, nothing. Well everyone has their own playstyle, maybe youve made this work since youre a 2k match argus main. But definitely not the ideal. It just works for you cuz you play like that. Meanwhile have DHS in ur build as well as BoD, but not having malefic? Highly sus. DHS is an item that benefits MOST from malefic. You're build can be easily countered without it. Its very easy to counter your build actually, and in more ways than one. Ideal? No. Does it work for you and your playstyle? Sure. But any pro or good team, trio-5man with any brain, will easily counter you. Good thoughts though, I see you play an antidive-reactionary-shred fighter playstyle. Not so much chase-based.

That Estes early game was a pro move. A pos5 user won't buy roaming item that is boots with roam in it. That's why he bought at first. When doing so, after the first wave clear the pos5 will instantly gets level 2. By that they have the level and position adv in getting bulbasaur or any other objectives The only thing that that Estes did mistake was not getting in position asap at turt/left river right away

Helloo, Top 5 Singapore Argus here. If you use Inspire, you can practically 1v1 a lot of Exp Laner, with an exception of for example Yz. If you meet an Argus, just buy a lot of defense Items, there are no particular hero counter for Argus, except Franco, but good Argus players can just Ult before they got suppressed. If you want to counter him, bought Steel Legsplate in the early game, you can cut down his damage by quite a lot. Argus is an Atk. Speed hero, with only Malefic Roar that Argus bought at Late game. So I personally prefer playing him in the Gold lane, since there aren't many MMs that can defeat Argus.

As an argus main I'm happy about this however sprint isn't really helpful for argus since his ultimate already gives him slow immunity and using second skill just makes it a mini sprint so I suggest inspire if you want to increase your dmg or execute for a guarantee kill
