Every format (that's not standard) will continue to be like that if fetchlands are allowed. They remove the penalties from adding colors to your deck, and you can easily play 4 colors which is absurd.

I feel like this deck further reinforces the point Seth made in his BR Heartless Summoning video, that right now modern is in a place where you can play certain shells (mono-black discard suite + liliana & k-commands, or the GR Ponza arbor elf-sprawl-blood moon) and then just jam nearly anything as a finisher package and still win a decent amount of your games.

I'm the wrong person to ask, it's not my deck. But if I had to guess, it's just too plain. Apocalypse Hydra can shoot things and usually gets double counters, Mistcutter has haste and protection, Walking Ballista shoots whatever it wants, and Bonfire is Bonfire. Endless One being just an X/X that brings no further value is kind of tame.

Blood Moon anchoring for the bulk bin rare deck. Pretty typical formula for Against the Odds, but hey it's legal. Gotta admit the Meanderer into double digit hydra plays look pretty fun though. Not to mention RG is my jam. The real question is how consistent is it overall. Also how does it fair against dedicated control decks. We didn't see any of those (that worked).

Krark-Clan Ironworks sacs artifacts to get mana, specifically cards like Ichor Wellspring which gives you cards when it hits the graveyard. Scrap Trawler brings those back and they eventually cast something big, personally I use Emrakul
