Hey Quill a good reason to not allow all ingredients for every recipe by default is that your people will collect all those resources and store them in the production buildings internal storage even if it's not enough for production. Over time you'll end up with a lot of your resources being tied up in your various buildings unable to be used.

Oh yeah, definitely! I stepped on this crap a lot of times and it is pretty annoying too because sometimes you WANT everything to be enabled so they just start working whenever there is enough of any of the resources but oh boy this is inefficient.

Ive been getting better along side you and am at around the same level. Learning how to deal with hostility and properly choosing supply chains was the biggest hurdle for me. I also noticed choosing a win condition at some point is important as there are many more than what you first think when starting the game. Resolve can be boosted in more ways than just complex food/housing/services. The feeling of mastering the systems and "oh viceroy seems kinda easy" feels so rewarding. Especially in this game. Id love to see more and you tackling prestige!

My resolve stays very low for the first 80% of the run. And then it skyrockets after I buy enough cornerstones from traders or build enough service buildings. I simply hate it when trading is unavailable. No amount of benefits can outweigh this handicap imo. Edit: bandit camp is TRASH!

35:06 I'm not sure Quill is right that he turns a profit on the parts. He bought at 4 per part and sold at 6, but the shipment also costs 2 packs of provisions per part.

I'd love to see all the in-between settlement playthroughs. I like to see the journey of discovery as you learn new things about the game with each settlement. If at all possible, can you post any others that you recorded?
