MJ couldn't have called for the fight for many years, at most maybe a year because he lost to Tapales on April 2023 and Inoue was in Dec that year. MJ got his mandatory in Dec 2023 ass well, so Nery and Goodman were in the position before him. Inoue going to have 3 more fights this year, so plans are Picasso in Vegas, then MJ and Ball in Saudi in Dec. I think MJ is a tune up for Ball, but Hearn scared Inoue and Turki will skip over him for Ball, but he probably thinks it would be either MJ or Ball and didn't realise Inoue plans for both.
