Excellent video. I didn't realise though just how long Double Twist would take to find the 784 albums on my tablet - my car doesn't have an in-built infotainment screen so I have a Brodit fixed mounting and an active holder which has an integrated USB-C socket for charging and sound system connection for my Alcatel 3T-8. Totally solid mounting exactly where a proper head would be.

The launcher looks good & has some very good customisations but in my opinion relies too much on GPS (which is not available in my vehicle). It would be better if you had the option to choose GPS or Canbus for the source for the speed and weather/temp information to display

Again if it's not working for you it might be a conflict with your head unit such as a permission setting in Android.

Hey mate. Installed this on my Kayhan FG MKII Ver 3 deck today. Great suggestion thanks! Do you know if there is a better bluetooth dialer out there than the stock one that comes with the Kayhan? The lack of favorites is pretty stupid!

Have you purchased a USB dongle to give you wireless Android Auto or Apple Carplay? That would give you the fav's & address book straight from your phone

Good night, I'm trying to use it on my Android media center, but I have a problem that the Radio, Bluetooth etc apps, native to my center don't appear in the list of apps to put the shortcut on. Kakamal Nor If I understand you right your turning it off while the radio / music player is on then that’s what will start back up again the next time you turn the ignition on just like your stock system did.

I shouldn't think so. The logos are copyright and any licence issued by a manufacturer will not allow any alterations to official logos. In effect, those that are included are embedded and uneditable bitmaps.

Hi. Have been interested in the Kayhan units... I'm curious with those units because they offer 'Android Auto' as an optional extra...but then it actually has Android on it already? Can you explain what the difference is between the two?Thanks!

Matthew Polack Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are not built in and requires a USB dongle to be plugged in and even this makes the head unit crash.

I rang the company and it sounds like they don't recommend alternative launchers either...which I guess is part of the compatibility issue of connecting a tablet into a car system...is a shame...because those launchers look great. How has it been going for you? Still not great? Does reverting to the stock launcher help? Thanks.

@@imacattackau5635 That works to get me back to the main menu screen, but when I start up another app for example, torque pro, the radio shuts off. I just want the radio to play behind the other apps, and it keeps getting shut off by them.

Depends on your head unit your using but usually you select the Bluetooth app as it's all tied into that.

Again that's the Android headunit not much you can do about that.

That happens in my car and I don't know if i like it... when i open the door my 2din autostart not sure why... without starting with key just opening the car... if it was music playing it continue playing if it was stopped it just show the launcher or recent aps... but it wakes up only unlocking the car.... I don't know if it is supposed to work like that..?

When i close the car the unit takes 2 clock minutes to shut down, but after that 2 mins it shuts down itself... I've read about connecting positive contact to car lighter to make it start and stop only with the key, but i am beginner with this and i don't like to mess with cables..

I love the way you have that set up and have tried the same with my Xtrons Android 10 in my Ford Focus. I have a few problems with Agama though and wonder if anyone can help me out. The buttons on the main screen as in the video are Radio, Navi, Music, Phone, Camera, and Apps. If I hold 'Navi' for a second it gives me a menu of Icon, Name, or App. I selected 'App' which then brings up a screen of several apps installed on my head unit. For 'Navi' I selected iGo which i've downloaded to the unit. No problem there. For 'Phone' I selected the 'Bluetooth' app, which then brings up my phone, so no problem there either, but for 'Radio' I have nothing on my available app screen to select except Dab, which I don't have an aerial for yet. My head unit has a built in FM radio obviously but it isn't showing on the list of apps that I can select for the 'radio' button. Any ideas how I can make the 'radio' button go to the in built fm radio?? Thanks all :) P.S. My 'Music' button which I have instead of his camera button takes me to the 'music' icon on the app screen, and that then loads my music off my usb stick so no problems with that either.

My Kayhan unit came with a radio app & this works fine with the launcher. Have you tried installing a new radio app (I really have no idea what I'm talking about so sorry if that's a stupid question)

You're not showing the part where you get the car launcher to actually show up on your screen. I've spent probably a day and a half trying to get this setup and configured to wear what's showing on my phone will show up on my car screen but there's no option or setting or anything to project or connect to my car so this is about a stupid useless pointless app. I considered as my default home screen on my phone but who wants to have their phone looking like a car for your head unit there's no way to use it on your head unit. Everybody has a video showing what to do after it's already set up and installed and basically just going over the features and what they said there's up as which is about useless if you don't show how to connect it
