That’s because it was less organized and most the fun came from the players, which wasn’t a bad thing, but for a long term game like deep it wouldn’t rlly work out. Rogue was like an Open cc game while deep is an actual rpg.

just think about it, rogue had barely any menus, everything you did and your interactions with the world were organic, no spamming your training tools, no power levels, no actual stats + a lot of hidden lore and mysteries that deepwoken still doesn't have yet. Here's hoping the devs will finally get done with the PvP balancing and focus on the lore more.

honestly deepwoken was not as great as the release of rogue, we knew way too much due to the testers, rogue had testers too, but they didnt leak much, making the game more explorable instead of just watching 1 video and know basically most of the information that you need to get to power 30 at least, but rogue had more stuff to explore before ultras were common, people were just using super classes until people actually explored tundra enough, instead of testers just giving the people guides, the unknown in rogue is way better in my opinion.

yeah exactly, the feeling of not knowing what to do and being on edge due to the permadeath mechanic made it feel so thrilling, and the game had this replayability to it that deepwoken doesn't really have. the game was magical

you can blame the lesser unknown feeling on the fact that death is way less significant as it can be gained back easily. In rogue there was something to lose, so why venture too far out and lose a life?

@@henry.08216 the death system being like rogue ISN'T the fix just make the trial more scary/harder rogue death system was very flawed it was especially harder for people who couldn't clip and the only way tpo get a life back was by getting a RARE artifact which isn't a problem for people with big houses or exploiting bank alts. also rogue feeels and IS more unbalanced like faceless macro, deepwoken isn't balanced but there isn't faceless macro, even corrupted crypr wind up u can dodge or parry it

Been playing rogue since it first went into paid access. It's raised my expectations for roblox games by a lot and has caused me to meet friends I never woulda made without the game. I remember most of everything in this video except for wave 0 stuff cause i wasn't in wave 0 and only watched videos on it. But this video was awesome and an amazing nostalgia trip.

Bloodring didn't give fist classes lifesteal it just applied to any mana based moves. Fun trivia: Darkblood was a thing in Tales From The Valley and there was a "hunt" for it for a player to find it. It gave you 4x defense at night but during the day you'd be far more frail and take 2x damage. (The hunt was rigged and Raguza ((Ragoozer)) ended up getting it. Xamn you used my video for Jester's Ruse 😍😳 The old uber sigil moves were based off of specs that were going to be added into Tales and the ideas were already designed but since the Ilyria faction was removed the specs were never added.

I was there during the thanos event. If you had pickpocket you could steal peoples silver and they couldn’t do anything about. I made about 37k silver that day hopping on different alts n repeating. They still had trinket steal as well so if u got lucky u might’ve got something real nice

me and my friends refused to watch any of the deep woken videos n guides and stuff and for the 1st month the game, and it felt like old rogue in the sense of we were discovering new islands finding new enemies. I wasn't actually there for old rogue (I joined right after they switched the Gui) because my family was struggling with money, but I remember going to my friend's house and watching them play. I even found my current best friend because I attacked him for grips. overall rogue was a truly special game that just doesn't hit the same anymore I wish I could have bought the game sooner so that I could have experienced it all firsthand instead of watching other play it.

i am a permafreshy since i never found a guild to fit in with and solo progression is impossible with never knowing what to do without the wiki, but i thought this game was so cool because nobody knew shit. deepwoken reignited that same spark when the luminants were split. me and my friend didnt know where anything was, it was all fresh and new. rogue is definitely doing overkill on solo players since they are pretty much fucked, but it was still so fun to hang around the rare friendlies with gates and thats how i was able to see the tundra for the first time.
