I think that the understanding behind spikes on the legs is that some dinosaurs would target the legs to take the dinosaur down, having spikes prevents this. (This is just a guess)

The spikes on e legs are actually kinda smart, considering if something, like an amphibian or croc, tries to bite its legs or trip it they will most likely get impaled. Although they should be a little farther down the leg...

TIP:Whenever your doing the pinwheel challenge always go for CARNIVORE HERBIVORE AND FLYING because that way anything will have and advantage at least one and its a good tactic as long as they dont go full on carnivore team also on the part where you spin i clicked on the legendary pack and i got a common pack which probably means if you click on the common pack you win the legendary click on the rare you get super rare click on the super rare you get the rare pack.Hope that helps you guys out and you to james

I know this a old video... but I would LOVE to see beaver do another playthrough. I just restarted and the grind is. AWFUL now. The amount of food that nasuto took at lvl 30 is how much is needed at around level 10. But still. I would love to see even one or two episodes of a new park now.
