@musicismysoul87028 ай бұрын
@@DemonslayerTanjiroKamado I'm not saying they should get an Oscar for this song. To me they are a group of extremely talented artists. They really deseve more popularity. I mentioned Nattu Nattu only becoze it became so popular after the award. And musicians like agam also deserve to be known world widely, and that's my opinion. Secondly, I don't see these type of songs as copy, rather they are recreated in a new way, combining deferent genres of music, and they always give proper credit to the original creator. I really enjoy their works. And fyi, they've also created original songs.

I was through a breakup that devastated me to the final brick and adding up to 13 sleepless nights, I was having the 4th panic attack of the day. I couldn't get my ex out of my mind up until I plugged in to this jam. On the 9th minute, I fell asleep with no regrets. Also being an Agam fanboy ever since I knew world music, I literally rushed to the scene to be the 53rd viewer of this video! Had to pull my car over, cup my face and listen with pure disbelief of the musical excellence Agam is capable of achieving. I couldn’t think of a way to top the Muse Room version.. and then Boom! They did just that! Thank you Agam

First stanza was in Tamil lang., its not part of original composition, and it's in different Raaga. When he sang 'Rangapura', raaga 'Brindavana saaranga' starts!! When Sitar player starts at 4:35 music becomes really Superb in original raaga!! Singer has beautifully sung Charanam, with Guitar playing Karnatic!! From 7:19 to 7:52 Lead Guitar is on Brindavana Saranga! Hats-off to Singer, Sitar player & Lead Guitarist!! Other instrumentalist have focused on western style & created Lovely fusion!!

I am confused. This sounds more like madhyamavati/madhumat sarang than brindavani sarang because there is no kakali nishadham or higher variant of nishadh
@abhinavshukla22023 жыл бұрын
Yeah the earlier stanza was from Divya prabandhanam

So proud of you guys for promoting our traditional carnatic music and making people eager to hear it.......Many had a fear that upcoming generations would ignore our traditional carnatic music and beautiful songs on soothing ragas...... But people like you prove them wrong........ Hats off to you for upholding our traditional music and presenting those in such a good manner💯💛

It is mindblowing how the band has come up with two completely different moods for the same composition. To be honest, both the versions can be considered extraordinary. Muse room version - An Emotional composition - Harish's vocals are legendary. Stirs your soul, makes you cry and gets rid of all the negativity inside you, even if its for only 10 minutes. Album version - A dynamic composition - Fills you up with energy (the chorus part), makes you happy (the Sitar and Guitar solo) and content (vocals, of course).

Why tears are running down during the Tamil verses of naliyira divya prabhandham? Has the lord of Ranga has come down to stay in my heart? Why is there Goosebumps and a un named feeling when choirs singing raga rangam followed by sitar Why is there a medidative feel when the rhythm guitar strings ? Why is there a smile of ecstacy when the electric guitar plays solo? Why is there a great amount of happiness at the end of the song and makes us to listen it in loop I don't know.... May be I don't want to know... Great great song

There are these rare moments when musicians together touch something sweeter than they’ve ever found before in rehearsals or performance, beyond the merely collaborative or technically proficient, when their expression becomes as easy and graceful as friendship or love. This is when they give us a glimpse of what we might be, of our best selves, and of an impossible world in which you give everything you have to others, but lose nothing of yourself.” -Ian McEvan

Amazing. No words to express my feelings. You guys took me in front of Sri Ranganathan at Srirangam. Every one did their job with utmost devotion and dedication. Clarity in voice is excellent. We can hear the lyrics and music seperately. One didn't dominate the other in any place. I don't know anything about music. But I enjoyed. Great my dear friends. I will pray for sri Ranganathan's blessings to all of you.

I may not be a musician or whatever but I can just vouch for the fact that this is sheer world class from Agam. Harish - your voice leaves me with tears at times. I cannot tell you how much I love your voice and your views on music. Thank you! TPK - your guitar solo is the nicest thing I have heard in the longest time. It's just so fresh. Yadhu - I just love your drumming style. The sitar solo, the rhythm guitar, the choir, the piano, everything is just perfect. Thank you Agam for dishing out this beautiful album. :)
