In 1963 the Bee Gees were signed by Festival Records(Australia), and in the course of 3 years they recorded 19 songs spread across 8 singles and 1 album; with Spicks and Specks in 1966 their first Australian hit, and there first International hit was in 1971 with How Can You Mend A Broken Heart.

Welcome to the world of Bee Gees aka Brothers Gibb, as others have mentioned here, 3 here are brothers: Robin (long hair, no beard), Barry (middle), and Robin's fraternal twin, Maurice other side of Barry. They had another brother named Andy Gibb who step in with his brothers during live concerts few times. Sadly, Andy died in 1988 at 30 after battling addictions. Barry usually calls Andy as his younger twin. Gibb Brothers were born at Isle of Man, island country between Ireland and England before their father moved family to Australia in 1958. 3 brothers started singing at young age. Their 1st gig was a speedway in 1960. Promoter and local DJ promoted brothers as "BG" that became Bee Gees in reference to Brothers Gibb. They started out small in Australia in the 60s. Then late 60s, they became well known internationally. Barry stated that he knew can sing in falsetto. In mid70s to early 80s, Disco genre was the game in music. Bee Gees did soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta in his 1st movie acting gig. Now, sad news about the brothers. Of course, I mentioned about Andy. In 2003, twenty years ago, Maurice died at the age of 53. Robin and Barry continued on until in 2012 when Robin at 62 died leaving Barry as Lone Bee Gee. Barry did a documentary and interview with local Australian news channel called The Lone Bee Gee. Barry continues his solo career with his eldest kid, Stephen "Steve" Gibb, who plays guitar.

Barry and Michael Jackson were best friends. Barry named one of his sons after him, and he was his godfather. They have a song called ‘All In Your Name’ that’s really good.
