Id be keen in these classes in the historical sense only. The rest rest e.g. the money thing I'm not too keen on in more ways than one, only because i don't agree with how some families are left destitute during faalavelaves. But then again I don't fully understand it. I'm proud to call myself a NZ born Samoan and i love the histories, but i cant help but think some traditions were just bad habits that may have crept in over time and have become the norm.

+Samoan Kiwi I agree. I am a Sua. My mom and siblings are very progressive for being Samoan born in Western Samoa. They even said the same thing. The Fa'alavelaves they didnt agree with and now being older I understand.
