Hi, I had applied for passport 3 years back but police verification couldn't be completed as I had to move to different city due to job requirement. Application is closed as per the online status but I haven't got closure letter & after enquiry, I got to know that it was delivered from passport office & might be miss from postal service. Also, I checked the recent online application method. There is an option to provide old file number. Can I proceed with the new application in case I don't have closure letter in physical form but I have proof of online status which states that it's closed?

Sir I had applied for a minor passport in 2021.But due to lack of proper documents I was returned from psk.I waited for turning into a adult.and then I rescheduled my appointment. On the day of my rescheduled appointment I was adult and completed the whole process there without any query.But I am now worried because the arn. show me to carry Annexure D but after narrating whole story to them they considered my application.On every counter I was asked about the Annexure D .But on the last Counter the officer Did not ask me anything? It means that the former Counter had amended my status from adult to minor one? Or if they had not changed will this pose a further problems?At present I am waiting for police verification.
