Agate Hunting With A Bunch Of Turkeys 🦃🦃🦃

A little trip on the bar with a bunch of turkeys. Literally ;)
I found some nice agates and a few jasper.
The agate featured in the last video is shaping up nicely. We're going to be giving that stone away when it's complete.

@@DavidBriggsAdventures I'm very lucky to live very near the Kennet and Avon Canal , there are some beautiful Narrow boats that are lived in all year round.... You would love a narrow boat holiday , plus you can bring your metal detector and find plenty of Roman 👍

I have a bit more work to do on it. The blue in it is absolutely bonkers. It's probably the rarest color of agate to ever be found outside of Ellensburg. Blue is such a rare color. OMG! I'm absolutely stunned by the color. Probably one of my top 10 finds on this river.

Those turkeys really made me laugh! We have tons of them around our place as well. It's really fun when the hands come out with their babies. Those were some beautiful agates you found. David, do you ever cut your stones? Cause an uncut agate is a wasted agate, the beauty is inside!

My saw gave out on me. I do cut stones with a diamond wheel for exterior polishing of stones. It's a fine art to use a diamond wheel for polishing. The sense of touch is similar to learning how to drive a stick shift car. It's a balancing act of touch, angle, and movement. I'm hoping to get a nice flex tool to start carving stones. I currently use a dremel.
