Technically, it was a kind of Hex. Wanda's just looks different because it's unstable Chaos Magic. His is more pure magic, like most Witches but more powerful because of where he came from.

Let’s clarify a few things the witches Road song was created by Agatha and her son apparently Agatha was avoiding dying by constantly cheating death when she was absorbing all of the witches powers it was prolonging her life so death always was looking and coming after her she continued to always cheat death which is why she told her son she was killing them to survive without her absorbing, witches powers she would’ve been died. that’s throwing off the natural balance it’s already one thing that apparently witches live very long lives to begin with they still haven’t explained how she got a hold of the book of the Damned tho. I knew from the very beginning that teen, Billy whatever name you want to use was the source of the witches Road what I didn’t figure out is that it was a manifestation of his powers Agatha, knowing the song was a trap for witches new instantly who he was the moment she saw the door appear he created the road and the obstacles in it subconsciously so the rules were real as well. Agatha said he couldn’t read her mind. She didn’t say she couldn’t hear his thoughts. She knew when he would try to read her mind. She kissed death, which is the kiss of death. By finally embracing what she’s been avoiding for centuries. Agatha, Billy and Tommy all was supposed to be dead. But now Billy and Tommy are living and dead peoples bodies, which is why Agatha said so what he broke the rules for shadowing her cheating death just like when Doctor Strange was sleepwalking inside his variant dead corpse

My 1 question that's never been resolved is if the road isn't real and nobody hadn't even walked it then how did lilia knew that when you overstay in the trial it'll collapse? I have some possible explanation: >She knew the nature of it, using her future vision she saw that Billy realized it was he who created it. >The road does actually exist. The witches' road does exist in the marvel comics. Perhaps it does exist, and it was created by Billy. He's the demiurge right? The being who spawned all magic, but he will be in the future, but the demiurge seeded life on earth billions of years. As lilia said, time isn't linear. The road's origin might have been from billy, but it has been accessed by true covens all throughout time.
