She was a master of elegant storyteller. She was frugal with words and expert in plot, pace and imagery. She was able to tell virtually the same story in a thousand unique ways. This story was very well read by the voice actor.

I liked the story, despite the at-times eccentric pronunciation, including one example of referring to the protagonist as ‘Poy-rott!

Why are the two pictures different? The images of the so called narrator. I wonder if this is ai - some parts come across a bit weird. I still enjoyed it

Maybe it's a pre-fame Agatha book read by a pre-fame Hugh Frazer. She could not afford a pro and he did not have his French accent down -yet.

AI narration continues to improve, but this AI voice, "Jason", is certainly not state-of-the-art. It needs a lot more teaching than it received, in pronunciation, phrasing and character voices. Getting there... slowly

@jeanneratterman4174 Yes, seriously. Ai is improving, and this contains far too many errors compared with the state of the art. That's my serious opinion. Of course others will vary.
