I think y’all misunderstand Agatha. She’s not evil. The only harm we’ve seen her visiting on other humans is purely defensive. I think her coven reacted badly to the fact her innate (inborn) magic gave her power above her level and tried to kill her. Her magic defended her. Now she caught wind of Wanda’s massive use of power, came to investigate, and has been trying to minimize the damage. Now she’s confronted with the same choice her coven was, how to deal with a tremendously powerful witch, this time with NO training whatsoever. She will make a different choice. All the “evil” stuff, including saying she killed the dog the way she did (I don’t think she did, btw) was to convince Wanda of her ruthlessness, so she’d cooperate with her children as leverage. The MCU has yet to flip a character. In the comics, Agatha is an ally and mentor, if somewhat opportunistic. It’s very unlikely they now intend to make her a villain.
