a performance of Agbekor, a highly well known and challenging traditional Ewe dance piece (which usually lasts about an hour), performed at CYCC community youth cultural center in central Accra by Africana Dance Ensemble. This is a feast. I underwent training in dancing to the same music. This was from 1962 to 1967 during my attendance at Mawuli secondary school, Ho in the Volta Region Ghana. Thank you for carrying on the tradition. We have never been expansionists, to conquer and rule others. We want to live in peace but defend ourselves and family if we must. These dances remind us of these core values. Thanks a thousand times!
