Allis buying Gleaner probably one of the best choices made

Sad that orange is long gone and all we have is Massey Tractors as the only heritage brand and gleaner as the combine heritage .. So we are now stuck with Fendt and the Mob Mentality of the Cat Dealers strong arm Agco top brass for a yellow tractor that does not seem to gain any market share but yet they still push it

None of their brands seem to gain much...then again they keep hemorrhaging dealers anymore so...

Ik right they should of kept the orange tractors or at least make a special tractor with the allis chalmers name and orange color

Yes, totally agree. Challenger was a mistake. And by next year I'm sure challenger will be gone in favor of Fendt. If Agco had poured the challenger efforts into Agco and Massey they would be way farther ahead today. Banking on Cats name and success in the construction industry was a bad move. Farmers and construction clientele are 2 different things. If it was just Agco massey and Fendt they wouldn't have lost so many customers and people wouldn't be so confused by Agco.

I have another video to put up with ratliff discussing the challenger purchase and how cat said that the tractors could be painted orange or red as long as it had a different engine. Blame the dealers for not taking advantage of that.

@@dickkeesey8889 Yeah I had the pleasure of being at the table and meeting Sergio Marchionne when the whole CNH deal was made. And He pointed to The way Agco had consolidated and rebranded about every 10 years or so as their biggest downfall. And Him and His Boss John Elkann (Exor Holdings) vowed that the Brands of CIH/NH would Remain. Because they understood the Brand Loyalty legacy

I am a Deutz fan have been for years. That said KHD made the first mistake when they painted them green and stopped production of the 8000 series tractors all they needed to was put there engine in that tractor and the Deutz guys would have bought it and i think the Allis guys would have went for it also. Don't know how they would have got around the name change though. From the point of agco on they have destroyed more dealers and more companies and product lines than anyone i can remember. Not sure where they are selling tractors at now but its not in my area they are almost non existent there are a very few that guys have bought used because they were cheap but here they have no resale to speak of so they are mostly scraped when people are done with them

The flakes that run AGCO might want to watch this, even as flawed as the content is

Too bad they seem to have forgotten what AGCO stands for.....
