The most iconic part of this run is Trihex is being serenaded by a grown man with an accordion, whilst he is playing Yoshi's Island half naked. This is the quality content I signed up for and damn it, I'm pleased.

This is the most entertaining run I've ever seen at AGDQ. Tri-Hex is a fantastic runner.
@starletprincecaydency50306 жыл бұрын
I love the solid few seconds of eye contact made between the guy with the accordion and Trihex before he starts playing. I never thought I'd actually say this one sentence, but there is no greater moment in speedrunning than watching a half-naked man on stream in front of thousands of people being "serenaded" by a man playing an accordion in dress clothes.

This run is PURE GOLD. I DIE at the accordion and the glitch showcase every time. By the way, during that Easter Egg when Yoshi one-shots Navel Piranha, Kamek actually yells "Chikusho!" before flying off. That is pretty much "Fuck!" or "Goddamn it!" in Japanese, which is hilarious to think about for a game that was designed with child gamers in mind!

Jack Registeel The thing about Melee is its all in response to another player(s), whereas trihex can learn a lot of the run by memorization. Melee players are constantly adjusting their strategy based on the opponent's and vice versa. It's like drag racing vs a dynamic race course
