very very late comments, but recently i've purchased the DE version, i must say that your version are miles better than the one officially featured on the DE soundtrack, while the new one remaster the whole track, they still keep the MIDI vibes the original gives, but i'd say AOE2 soundtrack need to be given the AOE3 treatment, and i say your version fits more into the DE compared to the one ingame
