I think the best strategy vs French aggro is just to build a handful of spears in feudal and park them on your gold/wood and age up asap with kings palace. You get crossbows and 2nd town center while they are going full all in 1tc and it puts them on a timer to kill you

Honestly, I just started playing aoe4, its the first rts I’ve ever played, closest game i’ve played is stellaris, but I was able to find your channel and have improved a lot just by watching the gameplay here, the daily uploads are amazing too, thank you 🙏

I wonder if you could be a little bit more fair with the economic develop. You spent like 6 minutes talking about the english player and then the chinnese appeared with full base... Tbh the first 5 minutes of every game are the most boring to see, but in some cases is really clear to see what are the players focusing on.

With the English you get to choose whether to have an army that will actually win against theirs or to fill it with enough siege to actually break their base. Either way I lose 9/10 games. Which is infuriating because I win 9/10 games against any other civ.
