I think it's kinda brilliant this is the first tutorial because gold is hard to get if you're new to the game. It forces you to strategize/study

Yeah that boar is a waste of time. I do get the extra sheep from the bottom left though in mine, end up running out of sheep food just as I need to age up

I tried this but for some reason I couldn't get the timing right with only 3 on wood, but managed to do it with 4. Is there some trick to making them chop wood faster?

So the only way to get gold is to cheese it ?. i tried it while having people on the lumber camp and luering the boar... I thought gold was possible playing normally.

I completed it just in time by playing normally. I had 4 lumberjacks with everyone else on food and didn't kill the scout. I had to heavily prioritize food, though - building farms and all while splitting vils between multiple sheep. I wouldn't normally play like that. It still took like a dozen tries. 🤣

i did this 2 days after i bought the game, needed like 5 trys but didnt do anything special, just clean pulls, i used the sciout to lure boar to reduce villager movement

Why does your scout suddenly die after you find the second pair of sheep?

they just delete it. I can guess why too. I mess up like 3 times because I would be looking at my total pop instead of villiager number and made 20 vills 21 pop and then fail lol.

it gives you one popo space more before you need to build the houses and that goes hand in hand with the time 3 villager need to produce all the wood needed for the challenge
