In order to form a federation between two countries is that... 1) you need be Allied with the country you want to form a federation 2)you gonna have to have 100+ diplomacy with the country you want to form a federation with 3)try to be Allied with the country you want to form a federation with for like more than 100 turns 4)always keep the diplommatic relationship 100 or else no federation 5)keep gifting them money every time you are in inflation 6)basically d-ride the country until u guys become a federation Like this so raiderknight can see this

Bruh I am a victim of this kind of attack too I play 1444 as the british so this random tribe named oyo just has a big chunk of Africa which has a lot of troops producing provences and I as the british empire has all of India most of North America South America Europe Asia Africa and the entirety of Australia I am so powerful in the game that I have puppets 3X stronger than my two allies And oyo pulled a fast one on me and I am struggling in this war for a month (irl) as the provences near the border are low troop producing and he is sitting at rich population lands so it is a huge struggle

I played as poland and invaded the yucatan peninsula of mexico (they declared first) then I got declared by russia. I used the op trade requests to make Belarus and Latvia attack russia and I invaded into st Petersburg and took alot of land to where I bordered Estonia and Finland. Ukraine also took over the Balkans and became number 1 and I knew I was fucked and ended the game there

Bruh I litterally make declarations of war rain on my enemies but I choose enemies who are more or less weaker (just a tiny bit so it weakens the country/enemy more) to fight the country. after the countries who declared on the country who declared on me (now is a opportune moment as they are far weaker) I declare war(or send my troops if declared on) and after I lose control over the provinces of the country who declared on the aggressor/enemy I declare war on them and get both of their lands. make sure to follow this to win next time good luck running a country and controlling the world :)
