It is orriginaly was founded on right side of the river and around 60% of the city in on the right side 2. Weird province borders. One of the biggest flaws of Age of History 2 was that, if you disregard factors like province, population and economy, the gameplay in every country was the same... There are almost no differences. For example, playing with Russia was practically the same as playing with Brazil, just changing the name of the country and other little things. Which made the second game very easy to learn and difficult to master, but also very easy to get bored with. Not even time or form of government changed gameplay significantly. Well, getting straight to the point, I propose that you take the time to make the gameplay vary throughout each era. Playing a country from the Middle Ages has to be completely different from playing a country from the Contemporary Age, for example. Thus, diplomatic, aesthetic, technological, economic elements and even events must vary from era to era.... As for the transition between these gameplay differences across eras, I think it could occur through an event when an era ends, like in 1453, with the fall of Constantinople, marking the end of the Middle Ages, so there could be a loading screen so the game could update itself according to the time. Or this could be done through technological development. Ultimately, changes in gameplay should not only occur between Eras, but also between forms of government. Playing as a capitalist country cannot be the same as playing as a communist country, with just a few differences in buffs and debuffs.
