Mythic age god powers are so great, you have one which grants you infinite resources, one which allows you to nuclear strike your enemies from the skies, one that can place hell's goddamn gate right in the middle of their town, one that makes the earth tremble and destroys any building, one that turns your labourers into fearless heroes... and then there's vortex, they really dropped the ball on that one

Honestly, I’m still a bit disappointed that one of the expansion civs was the Atlanteans. There are tons of real pantheons they could have gone with- Mesoamerican and Japanese could both be interesting- but instead they went with a fictional culture and an offshoot of the Greek pantheon.

my fave is probably the tartarian gate. you can place it on top of enemy buildings and they just collapse to make way for it.you can take out like maybe 3 or 4 instantaneously.

Uh... Wouldn't it have more sense to assign each power to the the minor gods to avoid repetition in the video? Then just list what minor gods each major god can select from.

I did think about showing which minor gods provided which power but decided against it. People can skip to what god they like and watch every power they have to offer this way.

Having the same engine as AOE2 basically AOM was such a treat.. and delivered brilliantly was a perfect situation where u alternated from AOE2 to AOM..

Yeah , there is dlc from 2016 , including Chines campaign , Chinese Mythology and really good graphics. Maybe not too good things , but characters in new edition look great. I play 2014 Extented Edition and it's still good.

Hey , did ya'll guys knew , that Zeus' bolt is op? I put myself trigger to have 100 bolts and I killed Kronos with those bolts. Not only him : Titan , Promatheus , Gaia , Guardian , Living Poseidon Statue and even Osiris! First thing you got when you start playing as Zeus is more powerful than Eatrhquake , Meteorites , Tornado and Lighting in one!!!

Just the first god power belongs to the major god. All others besides that are associated to a minor (in game) god. You should refer that, or someone who never played thinks that the major god has all that power, when it depends of the powers the minors give. Like, if you pass to classical age with Greece, the choices are Hermes, Ares, and Atena (2 choices per major). Hermes always give Centaurs and Ceasefire, Ares gives Cyclops and Pestilence, and Atena gives Minotaurs and restoration.

hey capture rapture i agree with you about not playing points scoring games , when i used the eso/microsoft version of the game their was a guy who boasted he could hack and alter his own score so that the matchmaker could pair him up with noobs or good players. He could then trash any account he wanted . When i asked he why he did the answer was BECAUSE I CAN . Under eso/mircosoft the game was better because they did monitor what was going on and i have been online when they black screened everything to teach trouble makers a leason. But that made inoccent players suffer as well.

I guess theres always going to people that have fun out of annoying and tormenting others sadly. They used a black screen to stop the cheater from seeing what they were doing, that seems like an odd way of trying to stop it, as you said it punishes the innocent player too, surely just trying to ban them would be the better choice. Do you know why Microsoft/Eso didn't release this themselves... it seems mad to me that they would give it to someone else to release it. As I said before though I don't comea cross these problems as I only play with friends I actually know or single player, it seems a shame that people wanting to play randoms online get their experience ruined though :(

always wondered why thor the god of lighting got no lighting, but forest fire in this game, and poseidon don't have any like tidal waves. Loki no illusions and hades the god the of the underworld can heal???? would be more true to the source if he can resurrect their dead bodies. :\ the god powers sometimes just doesn't even sense, but it was an enjoyable game none the less

I agree with you. It seems a bit odd the way they give certain gods powers that are to do with other gods characteristics and visa versa. There isn't actually a single power to do with water. Though if you was on a map with no water that would be a serious disadvantage as you are losing a god power over your opponent. Though it could be a classical age god power that made fisherman gather fish slightly faster or something if you were playing as Poseiden.

+LoLXD4118 when you play with hades all of human soldiers that die come black has a phantasm or something (shadow of hades) in the temple, every god as a minior bonus and this it the minor bonus of the hades, they come back as a shadow to fight again.

can u help me with something??I downloaded and installed AOM and the Titans Expansion recently.everything works fine except the voice sounds and the ambient sounds..the background music plays but not the other sounds..i am using Windows 7 32 bit..i saw a suggestion of playing it in Windows XP compatibility mode.i tried it but the problem remained...
