*I was a massive RTS game freak in the 90s and early 2000s. Command & Conquer, Anno, Warcraft, Dune, Age of Empires. Finally, in 2002, I was ecstatic to see a new spin on AoE. Adding mythological gods/goddesses, titans, and superpowers. This is great news.*

From what I've seen the only new content they've revealed so far is a new god, Freyr, who is unfortunately locked behind a premium edition.

Chinese will be added after release, so likely rebuilt and rebalanced. Another 6th unannounced civ will be after that.

This game is awesome. It‘s replayability is through the roof. Everybody who likes to play rts should try the remastered. I hope they put as much passion in the rework like they did with the original

AoM wasn't enough back in the day. Definitely got overshadowed to have such low sales. Hoping because other games have helped hype up mythological stories/concepts, such as Smite, that this game gets the notoriety it justly deserves ❤

After 2018 year i dont hope any good remakes or remasters... Out of 10000 few succes and most of them were passipnate public indie devs.. Companys in 2024 just love to release unfinished broken games with busted Price tag. After few mistakes you realize reality.

@@Unknown-zs8ex I still feel like aoe 3 had good physics integrated to it like when you fired a cannon and it hit all the rag doll of bodies were fun. But aoe4 feels like units have 0 collision lol. I hope this AoM will have good physics for all units

I do believe it's the AoE 3 engine, that doesn't mean the game will look like AoE 3 though, I'm sure it will be much improved (and should look like the screenshots we're seeing)

it's unlikely because the chinese faction was added by a different developer

@wa1ve in that case it's essentially 80% of the experience since one race of 5 is missing. The graphics quality improvement won't be enough to entice me into buying. Many will feel this way. Heroes 3 remastered did not do well because of this.
