Showcase of new Myth Unit Upgrades for Age of Mythology Extended Edition. This mod adds new upgrades for Myth Units that previously didn't have any, as well as adding new SFX to certain myth units.

If suggestions are okay I would really like to see some attention to: medusa, Sphinx, Anubite, Android, Promethean, Satyr, Minotaur and especially Trolls. Ideas would be the following: - Medusa: give them a passive upgrade like Gorgon’s Brute which make them a bit beefier and give them poison arrows and 1 higher range (at least more higher range and a bit more HP) - Sphinx: simply a small buff to their HP and dmg making them as big as nimenean lions if possible and idk but let their whirlwind attack do more dmg to buildings maybe (if not already there) - Anubite: also very small HP and dmg buff + have a chance to insta kill an infantry/civilian unit - Android: small HP and dmg and big armor buff - Promethean: make them a bit taller and slower but their HP pool way higher - Satyr: just some small buff maybe something similar to Mantikor or Fire Giant? - Minotaur: give them an upgrade like Cyclops and Frost Giant where they get a HP/armor buff and a bit more armor and a bigger axe visually - Trolls: trolls should throw bigger rocks and with higher dmg also their upgrade should give them higher HP and some artillery like bonus. For compensation make their attackseep slower and them a bit bigger (bigger hitbox) if possible. It always bothered me that trolls even after upgrade are quite squishy and do not much dmg by throwing small stones instead of rocks like catapults Feedback and some of these changes would be REALLY welcome. KEEP IT UP!

Saw this through the AoM forum and i was pretty damn surprised to see those things are possible and ppl try give this game love after all these years. About the video: many ideas seem balanced and cool. But I personally see these units a bit sceptical: -Wadjet seem still to be a boring and weak unit - Scorpionman could be a tad too strong/beefy - Mountain Giant could be a tad too strong overall even I like the idea - Scarab seems okay but nothing really remarkable I think But I really like the ideas for: - Hydra the new passiv gives her the opportunity to stay alive even after growing plenty of head I think which was always a bummer - Heka Gigant idea is cool cause he leaps like some massive ape like creature which is cool idea but his smash special should work vs all units - Behemoth tossing fits it’s horns very well just could maybe be a bit beefier - I was a bit confused but I get the avenger thematic and thoughts behind it now - Caladria is a very cool and useful idea always bothered me they are just squishy healing bots. I could also see a Valkyrie mod which give access to a unique new Valkyrie unit which also flies and maybe throws spears - Mantikor really needs attention. Really in my opinion boring and weak unit this gives it more usefulness but I wish the model would be different more lion like with scorpion tail and bigger wings but maybe AoM2 --- - Phoenix seems okay nothing too special - The Birds idea is okay but also nothing for me really cool or interesting but maybe for a bird doomstack lol - Fire Giant seems okay and useful I guess - Fenris well... still not a unit I would be interested in. Why not make them: -> a bit bigger -> a bit beefier/stronger -> much more expensive -> instead of pack bonus he let wolves spawn during attack units or howls like nimenian lion calling for ordinary wolves to help him (think that’s possible and would be imo much cooler) That’s my feedback I hope it’s okay and maybe you understand and like some ideas. Look forward for more! Or is there a side where it’s more useful to write such feedback?

Pleaseee makeee setnaaa able to empower, I always use Isis hear my plea during my games, also allow chiron to be affected by The Sylvian tech for other centaurs? Also ajax is a hoplite, he should benefit from hoplite techs, just like Reginlief benefits from Valkyrie techs. If most also is there anyway to make Amanras anubite jump more accurate omg along with anubite techs omg please 😭 😂 💜

There is a mod called "visual enhancements" you can add that redoes smoke, fire, and adds coloured lighting to things like heroes, myth unit attacks, and god powers. Makes the game look a lot better. You can also add a mod called "sound overhaul" that adds sounds too gold mines, new screams, weapon sounds, etc. Small things that make the game more enjoyable and visually pleasing.

Please, PLEASE, can make a new unit for the nords? Replace the Fire Giant of Baldr (and would be an exclusive of Hel) for a Wyver. Why the nords have one less myth unit and no dragons unless Nidhogg? Is unffair. With the hability to take infantry to the sky and drop them would be great. Or can be very god against others flying myth units.
