19:58 Take a closer read at Petrification, it mentions Cheiroballista as Heroes as well, might be beta, or might be that they can become Heroes now

Oh, huh. Never even considered that, I just thought cheiroballista could be heroes like other units

think disabling the autocast can be great for units that have a oneshot ability (especially those that can target myth units), to make sure it gets used on high value targets and not on chaff also, think the female berserkers being a thing is so villagers get to keep their gender when turning into berserkers... makes me wish converted dwarves stayed shorter and bearded as well :p And speaking of berserks, also shpould point that it seems they are now a generalist melee unit without any mentioned specialization, but seemingly superior raw stats to specialist troops of the norse (compared to the hirdman, they hit faster, do more damage, move faster, and have more health), meaning they may be the main frontine of the norse now even in the lategame, replacing huskarls unless you need high pierce resistance and building-killing power

Yeah, that's what Ulfsarks were in the original, right? All-around unit that claimed were good against cavalry but like hoplites back then all they had was just extra hack armor compared to other units of their category?

@@SlimyGreenSlime nah ulfsarks had a meaty damage bonus agianst cavalry and were the dedicated cav killers of the norse, though the amount of upgrades they could get eventually made them decent all-rounders through sheer weight of their stats (look how many gods had, and still have, upgrades that affect ulfsarks/berserkers specifically), and aat that point any cavalry sent against them was dead meat especially with the swine array upgrade that beefed up their anticav bonus. Overall here seems they kept them as this allrounder that becomes strong through repeated upgrades, but removed the anticav role and gave it to a new unit instead.

@@SlimyGreenSlime its important that they did, cause the norse didnt get ANY other unit as an anticav :p Still without the upgrade, they were struggling against the heavier forms of cavalry like elephants

@@thorveim1174 I just opened up editor to check, looks like Ulfsarks in Extended Edition do not do bonus damage to cavalry they do about 5-6 damage per hit on units that have around 10-20% hack armor, whether they were cavalry or otherwise

I realized I finished this video faster than projected, so I went back to get additional info focusing around mostly on Myth Unit changes that I didn't cover. Minor correction: Anastrophe only makes Pentekonkers deal extra damage after attacking enough times, it does not do area damage.
