Yeah, it looked like there were only three guys in range. Way too many attacks into the Stardrake

They had anti-monster as part of the General's regiment so they got more rend on the charge.

I was looking for this question - I haven't played 4.0 yet but I doubt there were even 3 guys in range. Did they change melee range/targeting besides the blanket 3" reach?

As someone playing this list with a lord relictor and vanguard raptors instead of vexillors and other foot units; it works just fine. LIfeswarm is enough healing with rally, the main consideration is having more bodies *is* nice, but the real benefit of three big dragons is that each one is a threat. Keeping them all close for the vex is a bit limiting.

Im super impressed with the dragon list. On missions with more central objectives that you could really bring the full weight of the dragons to bear i think it could almost feel oppressive

Was the guy playing stormcast quite new to the game? Was super weird to fight with the jaws instead of Krondys. Could have kept the big guys tied in with the jaws if he’d activated in the correct order.

Those Rattling gun weapons teams should hopefully do you better than the Rat Ogors. At an event I went to recently Ogors did me alright (although knew having more Clanrats over them would have been better overall). Think I just rolled very hot when they got into combat though. A shame Skreech got punked there. Love his buffs for the army and usually hits fairly hard in combat, but with save rolls like that what are you going to do? Great game/video as always guys!

@@TheSirMime Ratling guns are wildly powerful. I honestly felt so bad using them because I had to roll so many dice and then just fully lifted a block of pink horrors. Hope my opponent had fun, but that single round of full shooting felt really oppressive.

@AudioAnarchy I honestly can't believe they have crit 2 hits on top of how many potential shots you can roll for. Managing to get lucky with the Skyre roll to get them wounding on 3's and up to rend 2 sounds brutal.

@@AudioAnarchy I felt really bad in this game where both my rattling warpblasters went absolutely crazy. At one point failed a battle tactic because I tried to soften up a unit of Varanguard before charging onto the objective. Ended up with the full rend 2 with about 33 shots. Completely wiped out the unit of 3 from full health and didn't even blow it's self up afterwards.

good video but you made a mistake on two of your gray seer in battle round 2, both of your gray seer roll 13 on your roll and you spell is auto cast and it cannot be Unbound and you did not roll a d3 damage on your gray seer.

How did Stormcast hold the top middle objective in turn 3? Didn't you bring back any rats with d3? You had 9 on the objective after combat, so would have just needed 1 to keep hold of it no?

Top of battle round 3 skaven owned 7 of the 8 points. Stormcast was able to take back the center objective from skaven at the bottom of 3 with karazi if i remember correctly he was getting a bonus to his OC from the Banner man

For flag ability you have to roll dice to see how many model can u heal and boost +3 cs. On turn 5 u just heal 2 dragon without rolling (pick a unit dice)

They said so on army introduction. And what else would you want to take? Strike first on the drakesworn is good - and a 5++ on 6 wounds of prosecutors doesn't seem helpful - getting to fight with 2 dragons on your turn first, 2/3 of the time is good

Not enough shooting for Skaven, I think. It's hard for them to put out the damage they need to without their guns. Even the Rogors and Stormfiends, who are extremely good at putting out the hurt, just can't quite do it alone. (This is my theory for why the dragons lived so long). Good god those dragons, though. How many points is three of them???

Approximately 1500 points just for the dragons, that is the reason why he has so few other units. It is fun to see how a big horde army and army with fewer numbers but huge units fare against each other. Watching this gives me the temptation to build a dragon stormcast army myself.

your right, the differences between the lists makes this an interesting matchup. can all those rats hang out against the dragon onslaught. do the storm fiends have the damage output to make the difference game went all 5 battle rounds which means we really had to work for it

i think 20 is enough alot of units are going to struggle to do 20 wounds and if they die you bring back 10 they are one of the most effective screens in the game

Ratlingguns are the best Thing in the book Not stormfiends 🙂 18d6 Attacks 3/3 (all Out Attack/skyre buff) exploding 6s -1 rend 1 damage. Super insane. 3 claw stepping ahead them to keep then save. Super insane. Sad that Rat ogors got auch a Bad Profile.

I want rat ogors to be good but they are just so paper thin and dont hit hard enough. Ratling guns are getting painted now super excited to just blast everything with a gazillion shots
