CP for repeat the charges is a reaction to the declaration of a charge. Declare includes the dice roll so the CP is consumed after rolling if you fail, not before.

Just a heads up, it’s worded oddly, but you don’t have to spend the CP before charging. In 14.3 of the core rules, you see that rolling the dice is actually a part of the declaration step. And then forward to victory is a reaction the declared charge ability. It’s confusing in the way it’s worded, but the key is, the dice roll is a part of the declaration itself. 14.3 is the key. Also great job, love the channel.

8:01 just a note, battle tactics are selected at the start of the battle round in the active player’s turn ( aka start of player turn see 2.0 and phase flow chart in 13.0) then you move into active player hero phase if not inactive player abilities in start of battle round phase

a note on rerolls, because I've seen a few of your index reviews where you got this wrong, you do get to see the result of a charge roll before you reroll it with the command because rolling the dice is a part of declaring a charge ability, not a part of the effect. The same is true for effects that let you reroll spell casts.

They're back! Btw I'm fairly sure manifestations can be targeted by covering fire, from 7.0 in the advanced core rules: "They can be picked as targets of enemy abilities as if they were units. They are not affected by enemy abilities that do not involve picking targets". Covering fire is an ability and you pick a target. The paragraph that says when they're not a a unit is for the purpose of them not being able to shut down movement and charges of units that are in combat range with them, e.g. you can freely move away from an endless spell (as with the errata, they're only treated as a unit, for the purpose of movement, in the combat phase). Also, Rally is improved by musicians, while standard bearers increase control score (Mortek Guard only has Standard Bearers and a Champion to my knowledge? 🙂)

Manifestations are very cool, but the rules could be more clear lol. The faq does clear up the covering fire issue, which is a good clarification. Imagine Lord Kroak or Nagash dropping 4 on the board and forcing you to target them rather than units lol. We also though they could move after being set up onitially, which is wrong and also included in the first faq. We will continue to clean up rules interactions and make our content as accurate as possible as the NEW edition unfolds. Thank you for being a member! The Jezzails don't hit on 3s vs Katakros, they're minus 1 to hit thanks to Guarded hero (Core rules 25.0) and also cannot be targeted because of it. With a warplock engineer you can ignore the targeting part but are still minus 1 to hit.

Not sure if t\his was called out, but the Gnahole comes out at the start of the battle round not the hero phase. It happens at the same time as priority roll, or picking who goes first.

Amazing to have you guys back. First off! The overhead cam is such a nice addition. Great work! Some house cleaning. The Gnawholes come out at the start of the battle round. Battle tactic gets picked start of turn Then hero phase. You guys are playing the matched play border war but really that shouldn't be technically played with the GHB rules. The GHB Border War is different. Not a big deal, but I was super confused why the scoring was all messed up.

I saw some people mentioning you can't use AoD against covering fire. But you can, so you did it correctly. It has nothing to do with being "picked". It only has to be "targeted" by an attack, and covering fire does target the unit. The Keyword is "Attack". Keep up the work, we are all learning!

Amazing game guys, that was a tight score. If that wentvto 5 inthonk skaven takes it but i like some maps are 4 rounds. Loving the top down camera. At the same time i dont like top down full matches unless the people aren't playing and they are commentating. Also you probably know by now by the faction endless spells arent great but the other lores are. Abit op imo. 4th looks excellent butni dont loke the endless spell balance atm. Also guys got abit unlucky on magical intevention. However every match i watch counter charge always fails lol. Anyways thats enough outta me! You guys are my favourite battlr report channel. Hey quick rules correction: The Predator can be targeted by overwatch, because 7.0 Advanced rules for Manifestations: Manifestations can be the target of abilitys who are in need of a target. Range attacks and also overwatch are abilitys who are in need of a target. Cheers 😊
