Great video! One of the parts I like alot about this army is that it's has distinct groups, moonclan, squigs, trolls, spiders yet they can all work separatly or be used in a combined force. Which I like as the ability to focus on a certain aspect or a united hoard.

Grotz come as "stikkas" also. Spears give dubble the range. I think they're better than the stabbas because it doubles the amount of grotz attacking.

You can also have the loonboss on foot with (not just on) giant squig to make squigs battle line

I have a load of the Battle for Skull Pass Grotz. I know they're less detailed and yadda yadda, but I have to say I would NEVER want to clean and assemble 120+ Grotz from the kits. These will do the job.

Rockguts are your more defensive choice but Fellwaters are the damage dealers, if you're building a Trogg army get both.

But can I play an army that have some big trolls and squig? Live half trolls and half squig?

@@raphaelguilbault401 yeah absolutely, but you'll kinda have to pick which ones you care more about cause characters that buff squigs won't buff troggs as well and vice versa. And whoever you pick for general will make either squigs or troggs battleline. But you can actually do grotz/squigs/spiders/troggs/destruction ally in the same army, its just not a good idea for synergies.

I'm about 50/50 with my Trogg army against all comers but I'm prouder of every win than with any other army I play.

I am totally new to warhammer both 40k and aos. Gloomspite glitz caught my eye and I love the squigs. Will my army be better off with only grots or with grots and squigs because even if I can't play a game with them I will still buy them .Also should I bus a grots with a cave squig .btw this video was absolutely brilliant big thanks for all of the explanation. But I still don't really get how to play. Thanks for this brilliant video!

Glad you really like the video! Have you seen my Why Play Gloomspite Gitz video? or my Gitz long in depth army series? They will help. However as far as I understand sticking to Grots is the most competitive way to play them. However if you are not to fussed by that just buy the models you want!

hello! Thks for the vid. I dont play AOS yet but was considering starting GITZ. would you recomend buying 2 times the squigalanche Gitz christmas box set? or 4 times Mangler Squig is not possible to play anyway? Thks

I've seen a few lists where the Squigs are used as the cheapest possible way to have a third battleline unit - it saves points for having bigger units of stabbas. The army keeps them around as a food source, but always sends them into battle first, not because they're effective but because you don't want squigs behind you when the smell of blood is on the wind.

gloomspite is a hard army to put auto includes for as they have so many different ways to play

Yeah I did find it hard so I went down the route of the heroes you need as a general to unlock battleline.

Im kinda new to aos and the gloomspite gitz but the biggest two ways are either many squig related Guys or the spider Riders and the big spider or did i understand that wrong? And some standalone Heroes ..

Absolutely! :) Can always ask your opponent if they are happy. But as long as the base is the same you can see your model represents the warscroll it is using.

Hi, do you have an actual buyers guide for mee? I am an absolutley newbee and got very cheep the following boxes: 2x Stabbas 1x Start Collecting 1x Mangler squig 1x Fanatics 1x Endless spells 1x squig herd and 1x Squig hoppers. my budget would be about 250€. What does make sens and which minis I absolutley dont need?
