OMG !!! This was so useful. As a total noob, trying to understand the massive amount of rules, you managed to teach so valuable things. Please do more of it.

I’m not sure what this retreat thing is, but I sure do love teleporting Durthu away after I deep strike the enemy commander.

Excellent content. Visually showing what you are explaining on the tabletop is very beneficial and helps with understanding the concepts. Keep up the great work. Also, your customer service is top notch!

Good points ! The retreat is, in my opinion, the thing people use to forgot the most.

No doubt, it makes a huge difference!

Tbf, as a beginner, I don't get retreat. I retreat a unit and can't do anything anymore. Then my opponent charges the same unit I just retreated and kills em next turn. How do you use retreat?
@warpfireminis Жыл бұрын
If you're ever in a position where leaving a unit in combat means your unit is just going to die without doing any real damage back you're in most cases better off retreating. By retreating out you're keeping your unit alive this turn, forcing them to waste their turn killing the unit that would have already been dead, giving them a chance to fail the charge, a chance for you to rally, a chance for you to use redeploy to make their charge even longer, and if it's the end of a turn a chance for you to just move that unit somewhere else. All of those chances are better than just letting them die for no return.

Thanks I needed this. I have been losing my motivation after playing this game for 4 years now and I never won a single game. Thanks for the tips and hopefully I can apply them.

Nice Channel and also cool Challenge that you Guys do. Do you mind doing a Video in your skaven list that you Run for the Challenge or that you Like? I would appreciate that 😊

Check out our Skaven video we did a few weeks ago, in the description of that one I put a few good example lists for people to try (I just forgot to mention it!). For my exact challenge list it's always changing as I try new things and I try to keep it under wraps so people don't build to specifically counter what I do!

victory points make me feeling like i'm playing a game instead of a battle and i'd rather be playing a battle... is this move good for defeating my enemy? who cares look at all these points i got!
@warpfireminis Жыл бұрын
Doing kill 'em all battles can be fun, but in the long run gets pretty stale (to me); some armies are just a lot more kill-y than others too. Pretty much every war game that exists includes objectives/missions/points, but you get to choose how you play; if you want to throw points out the window and just kill stuff go for it, it just won't likely lead to wins.

Not going for the kill can lose you points :D My philosophy is: As long as you are scoring AT LEAST equal to the oponent AND kill more.... You are winning ;D'
