Great video!! I've watched a great Western NY Deer from 1990, to New Years day, 1999, go through very similar changes. I photographed him many times through those years and found his 95' sheds. They grossed 171. Good stuff. Keep it coming!

In PA that buck has a better chance of winning the Powerball than surviving 3 years... if by some freak accident it made 4 and hunters started seeing that thing in fields you would have an army coming after it.

He is magnificent. I am very privileged to get to spend a couple of months a year every season on this very large ranch. He is one of the best I have ever been able to follow. Ironically just a few days ago I got stuck after a 2" rain and while walking home found his rt side from when he was a 5 yr old. The shed was from 2015 and Scored a bit over 90". Beyond that of all the trophy deer this ranch has grown I find him one of the most beautiful.

Dead at 4 and mounted in Michigan absolutely... because If you don’t, someone else will and the chances of him making it to five are slim to none. Even if he did make it to five, he’d be so nocturnal you’ve never see him

yes IF you have the nutritional plane very high preferably for several years. takes a bit of time for the epigenetic response to manifest such that bucks can age better longer

Actually deer like that survive quite well in the natural ecosystem along the Rio Grande River. While he's certainly a top end buck there are bucks like that every year on well managed ranches in this area.....and bigger.The brush country od South Texas and northern Mexico is famous for them.
