Thank you so much for showing us around Bolivia. Let us take you out for some North American food when you are back home. You seem to enjoy the cuisine on the road, wait until you have 3 2 1 Go Pizza! Love the vids! Keep on...

The people are moving into the cities, El Alto used to have a few thousand people 30 years ago, now it has over a million people. Great video.

Thanks. Yeah there’s no young people outside the larger cities. All the schools look rundown and closed. It feels strange. Like I said, they all seem like ghost towns.

@@BuffertheTourist yeah, agriculture suffers too. They use to produce a lot more but now they are importing from Peru. Sad about the lake too, big Chinese mining companies have come into the country and they could care less about the environment. Oruro used to produce a lot of Tin (largest in the world) and other metals and worked with both English and German companies back in the day, now the Chinese just come in and rape the land.

Sad. It’s a beautiful country. So much potential.

@@BuffertheTourist tourism isn’t well developed, it could be great. The landscape is incredible. And that is just the altiplano, the valleys and the lowlands are beautiful too. North of La Paz there is a place called Madidi, which is an ecological treasure. Have fun man!

Awesome. OMG this guy is so good. Somebody needs to get his KZbin Channel to the Execs at CNN Films. I think they would give him his own show asap. Another excellent done episode! Thanks. Can’t wait for the next show.

Isn t there an island in the middle of the lake where all these bike tourists meet, mostly younger ones? Or was it somewhere else?
@BuffertheTourist2 жыл бұрын
There is an island. I haven’t heard of it being a meeting place though.

I have one more week. I’m at Lake Titicaca now, but heading back to La Paz in a few days for my flight home.
