I think you will find that what you have said in the last part goes the other way around. investors want short term gains so they can have a high return on investment straight away. on the other hand, managers are involved in the company and have long-term goals, because they prefer job security, so they rather have a stable profitable company than short them gains without a clear forecast. At least this is what I think.

I think you are wrong I have seen that a lot of managers just focus on increasing their remuneration and bonus, some Even show fake numbers to fool investors

You got something mixed up, the investors that are meant in the video are actually the owners of the company. As an owner of a company you are interested in the long run profitability and success of your company. What you mean are the stake holders of a company, which have a proportional claim on the company they are willing to accept highly risky investments to boost returns since they are rewarded according to the company‘s success, i.e. unlimited upside. Managers like you mention certainly exist, but are rare to find because they are usually hired on a contract basis. Management/Managers usually aim at maximizing their wealth during the duration if its contract (short term).
