Correct, NetLogo is a multi-agent programmable modeling environment used for simulating natural and social phenomena. It's primarily used for creating simulations rather than performing symbolic computations like Mathematica.

That was a really nice introduction. And I liked the jokes in-between :D Good job! You've got yourself a subscriber

Ciao Dino, I've written my Master Thesis with a custom ABM for economics. I am really interested into the topic. I am looking forward to see if you are going to include some Game Theory within ABMs.

Hi Matteo! Yes, we are definitely going to include some game theory (actually, I find it extremely fascinating!). I was also thinking about some videos in which I show how to write the simulations and how to explore them. You had something else in mind?

@@socialcomplexitydinocarpen6372I always thought about households as subject to information and industries as emitter of information and vice versa. Which mix of policies (aka strategies) of households and industries can generate cyclical and trend patterns? How noisy is the feedback loop?

This is a really interesting question/project. If I understood correctly you are looking at something like fashion, where you can have annual trends and sometimes they even repeat after a certain time. Is that right? I think it can be done using something like Axelrod model (I don't know if you are familiar with it) as a starting point. I think I can make a video where I test this idea and see what we can see. I think it is nice to see how we can explore different ideas. If instead you wanted to run the analysis by yourself, just let me know!

hi dino, I do really interest in exploring more about ABM. I'm from urban regional planning background and I think this modeling is suitable for me. is it possible to you to make tutorial about integration between GIS & ABM approaches in the context of travel mobility. thank's

Hi! I'm not really knowledgeable of abms of spatial mobility, so for sure I won't be able to do it in the near future. But maybe in some time I'll go back to it!

Can you also provide the link to the ABM about cheating and cooperating?

Did you mean this one? kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp3baXWkpaZ-ndE Otherwise, let me know what you mean. If it's something I mentioned in the video, can you tell me at what minute I mentioned it? So I can check what I said without having to rewatch the entire video

Hi Dino can you present us ABM in economics and finance please

Hi Iman! From my current knowledge base, I can tell you that we are definitely going to have some simulations in which we can generate the supply and demand curve + some other fancy results using game theory. Also, if you have a specific idea in your mind, just let me know and I'll see if I can cover it!
