There was indeed a time when i found my own being to be an unlikely source of wisdom, for the inner truth's to be had are questionable based on our false perception of reality. The finest truth i can find is the simplest one. "We are one." To me this literally means that god broke into many fragments in order to experience, and each of us is a fragment of that whole. The raven was the herald between him and his mother as the ballad said. When the raven came back his mother, she knew he is all right. (corvus means raven in latin)
