Agent Orange - "Grand Theft Techno" (Live rework of "Dj Jurgen - Better Off Alone"

Agent Orange has been an amazing friend of our platform. He was our guest on the radioshow several times and he's done a session during both programs during ADE at both the Masterclass Hotel as well as at the club events. We always support his unique mindset and way of working within the scene as an outstanding producer and artist. Over the last couple of years he's been making a good name for himself by producing unique re-works of all time favourites like "Don't Laugh" or Armand van Helden's "Witch Doktor". Both were huge hits across festivals around the world during 2018 and 2019 and he not only got tremendous respect from the entire Techno scene he also became a rolmodel for many producers around the world. He proved for once and for all that making fun music to the delight of the audience is the most important thing above all unwritten rules and obligations. If the music is good and appreciated you will reach the audience in the end.
For this session Ara agreed to be up for a unique challenge. In light of his unique concept we invited Dutch House legend DJ Jurgen to bring some unique samples from his worldwide hit "Better Off Alone". We gave Agent Orange one hour to do his magic and rework this all time classic. We didn't make it easy with an over 140BPM tune with a total different vibe as modern Techno but Ara really came through and brought this euphoric tune as we all know it into the modern vibe.
50HERTZ Masterclass Hotel
Both in 2018 & 2019 we hosted the 50:HERTZ Masterclass hotel at the phenomenal Hotel Twenty Seven on the iconic Dam square in Amsterdam.
As part of the official Amsterdam Dance Event programming we hosted a 3 day program filled with Techno Masterclasses, Panels and Feedback Sessions. We hosted this event together with our educational partner Paul Nolan (Make Your Transition) who also curated many of the sessions.
