I've heard Sarge(Coulson) and his crew are a adaptation of the Devils rig/Hell hounds from the comics, I just hope we see Ghost Rider return in some way.

@@angelorossi414 I'm really not sure, It was a theory by a KZbin channel, called What The Geek. The dude has a strong accent, but he connect the dots perfectly. The Sarge from comics is basically the hellhound, mercenary version of Ghost Rider who rides a large truck, just like the one from the tv show. I do think the show is going a completely different direction and making this version more dimension hopping team of bounty hunters who destroys worlds under somebody else's demands.
