The murder vest IS extreme but it was an extreme situation; and Lincoln had the option of staying behind and I don't think Coulson would have blamed him for it; and stuffing a Vest with pockets full of nanothermite and a remote detonator is really easy and fast to put together... But I do think the situation was getting to Coulson and that is precisely what May was reacting to: She knew Coulson pulling a murder vest was not typical Coulson behavior and even him giving her the remote trigger was not his usual M.O. And in typical Melinda May fashion: She called him on it! When mommy and daddy are fighting: You know things have gotten out of control !!! PS: Coulson's energy shield...! Come on, huh? Second greatest shield in the hystory of shields ever! (Second only by a slim marjin too!)

Daniel Lanctot you’re somehow defending Coulson too much and not empathizing enough for Lincoln. The Normies reaction to that is what normal people think about the situation. Lincoln was never going to stay behind when Daisy was in the equation. Coulson went too far by forcing Lincoln to wear that if he wanted to come.

Very excited crowd this week! Not surprised since you all seem to love the SS Fitzsimmons. One thing you touched on I wish had gotten more focus in the remainder of the season is Coulson being a surrogate father figure to Lincoln, testing him not only to make sure he can fit into SHIELD, but that he's a good fit for Daisy despite his past history. Meanwhile Daisy has run back to an abusive ex-boyfriend he's positive is no good even before he died and got taken over by an evil parasite.

I get the vest. Coulson definitely gives more value to Daisy than Lincoln. He probably wouldn't let Daisy go at all, but is willing to chance it with Lincoln. But it was Lincoln's choice in the end. He didn't order him to go and wear the vest.

Also, there was a story about a guy in Sydney a couple of years ago that had taken the chip out of his Opal pass (the swipe card in NSW for using public transport) and inserted it into his wrist cos he was sick of taking it out of his wallet or forgetting it, etc. There was a bit of a storm in a teacup about how it shouldn't be allowed since he wasn't "using the card" . . . although the account was under his name, the chip was registered to his account etc . . . all it meant was he had it on him at all times and no one could steal it.

Suraj, Dude!! Thor's eye was already gone. All he did was shove a ball into an empty space. The doctor want FitzSimmons to perform an extremely complex surgery where they remove an eye and replace it with a cybernetic one all while reattaching the nerves and connecting them to the processors in the eye AND leave NO visual sign AT ALL that a surgery took place. Yeah, Thor can do that.

Scorch's blood platelets were the reason that he didn't burn while using his powers. Raina drained his blood platelets so that they could use them in the centipede serum to solve the combustion problem. That's why his skin burned when he tried to use his powers later in the episode. May injected him with a double dose of centipede serum to cause him to blow up.

I enjoy you guys' reactions and stuff. For real. But I gotta address something that really bugged me. That is the most disgusting thing I've ever heard. Shipping Hive with Daisy is like shipping Jessica Jones with Killgrave. If they were to have actually had sex while she was in this state, it'd have been assault. Luckily! Hive has no romantic interest in Daisy. He had bigger goals in mind, so it never goes to that. But if he ever made a move on her, it'd have been just disgusting. Nahid, you need to remember what's what. Skye and Ward... are over. The romance they did have in the first season was based solely on looks and lies! Ward turned out to be a bad guy. Yeah, one of the more tragic bad guys of the series, but the bad guy none the less. Hive is the bad guy. Hive is not Ward.
