Damn. The nostalgia of watching this video again is overwhelming. Honestly, looking back on it, this video didn't age well. Everything is just too floaty for it to look like mario for me. Overall though, if it had a little more time, this could've been amazing.

Hey everybody! just an update: I know a lot of people have been wondering what's going on and asking questions or trying to get a hold of me about the status of the game or asking if I got sick or died or whatever but no i haven't, I'm fine lol. I really do appreciate the support and I have not given up on the game but to be honest I also haven't really worked on it in a while either... However, I do plan on returning to it at some point in the future. The thing with me is that I work on it in bursts so like i could work on it for like 3 months straight and then not touch it again for like a year for example. I kind of stopped checking/responding to the comments not with the intention to ignore people but because the same questions kept popping up over and over again asking for download links etc. or because I didn't really have anything else to say as far as updates on it were concerned. Again, I really appreciate the support but please keep in mind I'm not like rushing to complete this or anything, it's kind like a hobby I just come back to sometimes and work on at random. I have made some improvements and added a lot of new additions to the game since this video was posted but most of the things i have been doing are behind the scenes under the hood type stuff for like optimization and such. If there is a major update on it in the future I will post another video here.

The Galaxy Ice Flower should stack like the P Balloon since it's a temporary power-up. That way, you don't lose the power-up you just got.

This looks like it's going to be a great fangame, definitely looks like it'll be one of the better ones. And if I may suggest, if you aren't already planning to add it, to include a level editor like that of SMBX(A very well made but discontinued fangame). It'd be epic if people could make their own levels and worlds, if you added that this would probably be my new favorite game.

I feel that maybe the Volt Shroom should be a power up where you shoot a straight bolt in the air similar to Luigi's fireballs with it being able to bounce off surfaces and maybe using it while crouching would make it act like the Spark Ability from Kirby

Before I was coding my my 2D game project in DirectX8 with Visual Basic 6.0! Now I slowly converted it over to DirectX 9 with C++ 6.0 and when I did a FPS comparison, it's atleast 200 times faster!! I was and still is making my own 2D GAME! Before I was going to make my own 4-PL mario game called Super Mario World 3, but I slowly lost time over the years! I feel like we have tons in common and I love all the work you have done so far on your game!! Keep it up and don't give up! Heard of SMB. X?
