Great video! Have you ever looked at pictures of Elizabethan/Tudor gowns? They’re very wasp-waisted (ooh imagine a wasp dress) and about as extravagant as it gets! I just really like the shape language of it all, it’s right up my alley and hopefully yours too! I’d love to see a fae queen costume in that style, or any style really!

Happened to me with my black & decker iron in my 20s when I had a super-sketchy ironing board as well. Your videos are so fun, I watch them with my 8yo who demanded this weekend that I wrap her in seran wrap and duct tape (I’m expecting a call from the school when they get to the “what did you do with your weekend” part of the morning….) Now I need to go find an idiot-proof tutorial for how to turn the duct tape form in to pattern pieces - somehow my otherwise fairly intelligent brain can’t figure out turning 3D in to 2D.
