Given , Ratio = 11 :13 5:6 given time = 3 years Cross multiplying = 11×6, 5×13 = 66 , 65 Diffence = 1 (this will be our denominator ) 11 ( age of A before 3 years ) 3 (year given ) 1( difference of 5 and 6) So , 11×3×1 / 1 = 33 ( present age of A ) Similarly present age of B = 13 × 3 = 39
