Setting code on Dominator ADS Garage Door Opener

If it's an original one, the code switches may also be found inside the old remote. Open it up and then make them the same as the ones in your motor.

I have the same motor as yours and I ask the technician who do the coding for the garage remote to code for my garage he said mine one is too old they can't do it. what is your motor model and the remote? That is exactly like mine.

I have been given an old remote 315Hz for a Dominator but do not have the code can I programme this to open my dominator? How? Amanda

what is the type number of the door opener in this "movie" and is there a service manual that gives details how to program the unit e.g my door in the mode of closing stops half way and opens again

My door doesn't work at all. Obstruction light is usually not illuminated & you press the button & you get one flicker of movement and the light bulb come on but only with one press ~ no continuous action up or down.. so I have to open / close manually. It's hopeless. The other door is fine, with of course is the other button. It's a one push up and one push down . Or it operates when you hold down the button. sometimes another light is not illuminated like programme or reset. Very occasionally it will operate correctly, like just now when I removed the cover, it's hanging by the wires now but it operated, initially by holding down the button. But then with one push only as it's supposed to. It plays up the whole time. Anyone, any ideas. I'm in NZ. And yes it's a Dominator. Can't see which model. Four red lights. From bottom 1 = Power 2 = Obstruction 3 = Reset 4 = status .

HI there. my ads Dominator garage door wont open all the way, OR it wont close all the way down, it is either one or the other, can someone help? :)
