hi, in this video u used two tables orderheaders and orderlines, these are normal tables or agg tables?? my doubt is aggaware function is possible with both normal and agg tables (or) only normal tables
@NareshGanatra7 жыл бұрын
late to reply..... the header table could be considered aggregate tables as it as a summed up measures....not sure if I follow what you mean by normal tables....but u can use agg aware as far as you have more than one table with one of them having aggregated values. hth

Thanks Naresh , I have been watching your videos to gain knowledge on BO 4.0 . Waiting for more :) I have a quick question here .Is there no means of automatically selecting the incompatible objects, because some classes may have plenty of objects ?

Can we create our own aggregate tables in the information design tool. For example if I have a fact table that list daily sales, can I create a Yearly aggregated sales table and then use that in the aggregate aware function.

Hello there ! Long time no see (at least not since the SAP UFO-;)! Been ages since I looked at IDT, but let me see if memory serves me right .. in idt you can create a derived table .. but that would be mostly like crating a view and hence will not help a lot with performance improvement .. if you want to do it at the idt level then just the sum() or appropriate aggregate function .. if u want to create and aggregate table since current performance is not acceptable then creating and agg table at the db level would be the way to go and then use aggregate awareness in IDT ...hth

@@NareshGanatra Great thanks....btw....did you find out what that SAP UFO actually was? :)
