I’m visually impaired, and cars on footpaths are seriously a danger. Sometimes I don’t use my cane and get over confident and walk into cars parked like that. Last week i was walking at night, sweeping my cane in front of me. A car was parked out of its driveway and across the path. I was walking a bit fast on the public footpath, super confident and I hit the car with my cane really loudly. The owner flew out of his house and started shouting and swearing. The HGV driver was angry before he even saw DJ, the way he approached the barrier,pipped his horn and couldn’t wait for it to open. He then spotted the camera and lost it - he has anger issues ! Road rage waiting to happen !

That truck driver committed a crime because he gave intent that he was to cause harm. Plus he left his vehicle unattended. He will most likely be fired as all this was during working hours.
