I usually play unranked, so not sure how meaningful this experience is. But I took this into ranked, starting at bronze, and have gone 15-6. Not sure if the power will drop off like some comments have mentioned but I'm having a blast with this deck.

I faced you last night testing a gruul deck and it sparked an awesome deck in my brain. Instead of heartfire hero I went with mocking bird because I wanted to copy more creatures. 67% winrate on the draw, and 67% of my games are on the darw😅.

@MythicMichael I'm sorry for the confusion I was testing a low to the ground gruul deck and you were using this one. Btw are you cool if I put a link to your video in my video's description? Great to hear! Yeah, nothing feels better than our bird blanking their removal spell. I kept getting rage quits when that happened :))). Have a unique No Rare Spells Gruul today coming!

And the bird! That is 8 ways. The whole point is we’re getting away from buff spells… Just using ancillary tricks attached to creatures, with the mouse not being the main event.

EDIT: Although I’ve had a solid record with it, since I noticed sometimes runs out of gas, I slightly revised the deck to add 2 Mockingbirds and 1 Furnace Reigns for a bigger top-end. Hopefully that helps!

@MythicMichael I played some more and ended 5-7, plat 2 to plat 1. Too much discard and spot removal and I must have gone second 80% of the games. Really fun when you get the right cards though

Same problem here, around plat level. Got matched vs Discard/Exile Removal happy decks and couldn't keep a board or retaliate 😅 Nice synergies tho
