In the heart of the Saronic Gulf lies a place with lush pine forests that literally reach the sea, enchanting beaches framed by the beautiful Greek blue and crystal clear waters.
The island has a size of 12 square kilometers and a population of 1150 permanent residents. In ancient times it was called Kekryfaleia which means adorned head. It consists of 4 settlements.
Megalochori, also known as Mylos from the windmill located on the edge of the village. It is the administrative capital of the island. Thanks to the new port that the flying dolphins approach, Piraeus #Athens is only 55 minutes away. Houses in traditional architectural style, hotels and rooms to let for quiet family moments, rest and countless places to gaze at the view and the blue skyline. Stroll in the beautiful alleys of the village that lead to traditional cafes and taverns. Authentic style and several places untouched by time will give your stay a special ambience.
Megalochori has two beaches with crystal clear waters in natural coves that create sandy and pebbled areas.

Next stop is Skala! Here is the entertainment capital of Agistri. The distance from one port to another is only 2 km and many people do it on foot, by bike or by running. Ferries from #Aegina and #Piraeus arrive in #Skala. A picturesque and well-photographed place is the imposing white church of Agioi Anargyroi. Around there is a large sandy #beach with golden sand and crystal clear, shallow waters ideal for children and families. Most people choose Skala for the amenities it offers, the wide variety of restaurants and fish taverns where you can try and enjoy a wide variety of appetizers, baked meals, grilled meats, fresh fish and seafood from the island's fishermen.
The accommodation options in Skala will impress you while in the bars and clubs of the village, you can have fun until the morning.
On the hill above Skala lies the settlement of Metochi. It offers peace, coolness and wonderful views!
From the port of Skala starts a beautiful path with southeast direction that ends at the famous beach #Halikiada. First you will meet the amphitheatrically built neighborhood of Alkyoni Hotel, with the Angistri club and Hook bar. Right next is Skliri beach. Small but beautiful. Those who endure start from here and go swimming in Halikiada.
Then we meet the Forest of #Halikiada and this beach of exceptional beauty emerges! It is difficult to access and you have to climb with great care. This is one of the reasons why young people mostly frequent the beach! Naturist bay with emerald waters and large pebbles. Get water, food and means of shade as this exotic beach is not organized.
after visiting Halikiada you will understand why Agistri gradually attracted many artists and people with a restless spirit who draw inspiration from this island.
On the west side, #Dragonera beach stands out. After crossing a dense pine forest the coastal road leads you to a tropical place like Maldives, in perfect harmony with the blue sea. You will find umbrellas, sunbeds and a canteen where you can cool off with coffee, soft drinks or ice cream.
And we arrived at Aponisos beach. A private island, a bridge, a tavern, the most beautiful turquoise transparent waters, ducks and beach bars! What more could one want? An exotic area, where the pines embrace the beach of #Aponisos. It looks indeed like Hawaii!
You can reach Aponisos by car, bus, taxi, yacht or even by bicycle.
The unique combination of colors reminds you of exotic places, offering you unique relaxation and tranquility.
Finally, in the southern part of the island are #Limenaria. A peaceful settlement with colorful points and positive energy. The picturesque rocky decks of #Mariza is a sample of the natural beauty and magic that this location offers.
It is a rocky beach, green, with deep crystal clear waters.
For those who love hiking, there are amazing routes that visitors can explore and experience in the amazing and always green natural environment of the island, through hiking, by bike or horse!

"Meilleure plage" sera la plage où je pourrai me passer de maillot de bain, donc Halikiada. "Best beach" will be the beach where I won't be forced to wear a bikini. I.e. Halikiada.

Exactly, Halikiada is a fantastic naturist spot! I must admit that almost anywhere in the Greek coastline you find a remote place away from houses and churches you may enjoy the sea swimming naked 😊🏊🏻‍♂️🏊‍♀️
